Oxygen Lancing

In lancing mode, the PTI Jet Burner is capable of developing a supersonic oxygen jet that can travel the large distance from the sidewall to the steel bath and effectively decarburize the steel. The burner uses a gas shrouded DeLaval nozzle to maintain its velocity for effective decarburization. Coupled with PTI's JetBOx^TM, the PTI burner system rivals any other equipment on the market.
